Matcork – Indústria e Comércio Internacional de Cortiças, S.A. was officially founded on July 1, 1998, by two partners with extensive experience in the cork industry from the forest to the final consumer worldwide. It is currently located in the Industrial Park of the city Vendas Novas, in the Portuguese province Alentejo where the best cork in the world is found.
Matcork is certified by Bureau Veritas with the International Code of the Stopper Practices CIPR-SYSTECOD since the first year of existence of this certification and is still certified to this day.With the certificate nº: BV / 121 / CO.PTX.
Its main activity is the transformation, manufacture, finishing and export of cork products to the final consumer, especially all kinds of cork stoppers.Due to its great knowledge in the export area, Matcork also commercializes all the other products and specialties of cork, guaranteeing to the end customer the quality and excellence of its products.
In almost 20 years, Matcork has been present in markets such as Germany, France, Spain, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Italy, Austria, United Kingdom, Denmark, Bulgaria, Russia, Portugal, Argentina, Chile, China, and others countries of the world.The quality of our products and their control, rigor and honesty in the business aspect are the strengths of this company that has allowed to be present in the market for 20 years.
